Graduate Programmes
Your journey with us could start in any number of places around the UK and I with our main sites in Bournville, Reading, Uxbridge & Dublin. You could even wind up doing a placement in Europe as part of your programme! For graduates who love a challenge and the thrill that comes with working in a constantly changing environment, the possibilities are endless.
Each scheme lasts three years. Wherever you’re based during that time, you’ll get almost unheard-of exposure to every corner of our business. Working in real roles and teaming up with industry experts, you’ll learn invaluable new skills and gain the kind of flexibility that will allow you to take your career in whatever direction you like.
Mentoring will also be a big part of your graduate experience. You’ll get loads of advice and support from highly experienced managers and other colleagues. This will help you build strong networks across the business, and put you in a great position to become one of our future leaders.
Graduate Direct Entry
Along with our graduate programmes, we also have real roles that you can apply for as a graduate. In fact, every function within Mondelēz International hires graduates directly into the business.
Join us in one of these direct-entry roles and you’ll experience a rapid stream of exciting, career-boosting opportunities. You’ll work alongside industry experts, enjoy world-class training and be given a real chance to progress.
You’ll also benefit from our strong focus on development, including a twice-yearly personal review and access to our excellent Learning and Development Academy.
Your Special Ingredients
We’re looking for creative, commercially astute graduates who are hungry to succeed. We’re after future leaders who are also team players, and for self-starters who can adapt to the changing needs of a global business.
If you can see both the big picture and the small details, have outstanding academic results and are geographically mobile, we want to hear from you.
Your degree can be in any subject, though if you’re applying to the Engineering programme, we’ll expect it to be in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Production or Chemical Engineering.
Bonus points go to anyone who speaks a second language.
Engineering Graduate Programme
Engineering is where our brilliant ideas become a delicious reality. Our engineers develop the highly technical processes behind every product we make, whether it’s an imaginative chocolate bar like Marvellous Creations, an irresistible snack like Dairylea Dunkers or some wonderful new treat we haven’t even thought of yet.
Join our graduate programme and you’ll get to experience both the operational and technical sides of what we do. Working in Projects and Development, Operations, or Optimisation and Continuous Improvements, you’ll be given the freedom to innovate, the scope to make key decisions and the opportunity to take on the many small and exciting challenges that make up any large-scale production.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be part of a cross-disciplinary team of the best and brightest graduates, working together to plan and design a new product or service. Moreover, because we’re a global company, you may even get the chance to do an international placement at some point down the line.

The business supports its chemical engineers in gaining Chartership through its
IChemE ACTS (Accredited Company Training Scheme), helping to promote the role of chemical engineers within the business and wider industry.

Supply Chain & Logistics Graduate Programme
Supply Chain & Logistics is one of the most expansive areas of our business. Not only do they help manage customer accounts, but they’re responsible for storing products, taking orders, managing demand, arranging transport, collecting payments and, ultimately, ensuring our products reach store shelves all over the UK and Ireland – in full and on time!
Join our graduate programme and you’ll get to do around four placements in different areas of Supply Chain & Logistics, including Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics Operations and Customer Finance. Once you’ve learned the ropes, we’ll encourage you to contribute and prove yourself on live projects.
Working as part of a small interdisciplinary team, you’ll also have the opportunity to plan and implement a new product. Who knows? If we like it enough, we could even green light it for production.
Sales & Marketing Graduate Programme
Our Sales team is all about our customers, the stores and supermarkets that buy our products and enable consumers to enjoy them. The stronger our customer relationships are, the more likely that our products will be displayed in the best places – and attract maximum attention.
Our Marketing team focuses on consumers, the people who eat and drink our products. Marketing is where we first capture consumers’ imaginations, giving them a tantalising taste of our brands, big and small.
Join our Sales & Marketing programme and you’ll get an in-depth look at both of these critical functions.
Working across a variety of roles, you’ll learn big-picture commercial skills from some of the best people in the business. You’ll also get a flavour of our cutting-edge marketing campaigns and ingenious sales strategies. Moreover, you’ll help plan, price, develop and deliver our iconic brands, including Cadbury, Philadelphia and Oreo.
From building tight relationships with retailers to understanding what people want to eat, you’ll always be looking for new ways to engage and delight both customers and consumers.
HR Graduate Programme
As a company that employs 100,000 people worldwide, we need to make our size work for us. By ensuring every person counts and can use their unique talents to help us on our journey, our industry-leading HR team brings out our best.
Join us in HR and you’ll help drive change throughout the organisation. Moving around different areas of the business, you’ll support the design and delivery of our people systems and processes, while working with senior leaders to support our people agenda.
You’ll have the chance to work on projects of all sizes, with some cross-functional and international assignments. You’ll also develop generalist skills such as leadership and workforce planning, and gain specialist skills in areas such as organisational effectiveness and compensation and benefits.
What’s more, we’ll support you – through time off and funding – to gain a CIPD qualification in Occupational Psychology, and to take advantage of our internal management development courses.
Research, Development & Quality
As a business we feel building a career in RD&Q should be focussed on developing deep technical understanding and knowledge of a particular topic or subject and as such we don’t offer a rotational graduate programme for this function in our business. We do however, offer a wide range of exciting direct-entry opportunities for graduates interested in the world of RD&Q focussed in two broad areas in Product Development and Process Development.
As with the Engineering graduate scheme, the business supports its chemical engineers in gaining Chartership through its
IChemE ACTS (Accredited Company Training Scheme), helping to promote the role of chemical engineers within the business and wider industry.
