Read about working at our new Research, Development and Quality (RDQ) Technical Center in Poland.

In October 2015, Mondelēz International launched a new, advanced RDQ Technical Center in Bielany Wrocławskie, the Wrocław area of Poland.

The new facility will ultimately be home to up to 250 RDQ professionals across all levels. This deployment center gathers an intercultural and interdisciplinary pool of talents, working together in a stimulating and creative environment to help drive our ambitious growth plans. Our aim is to provide an exceptional setting for true RDQ innovators to grow and develop while supporting new products and technologies for beloved Power Brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka, Barni and Oreo.

Being a part of Global RDQ Center in Wroclaw gives you an unique opportunity to collaborate effectively with your RDQ project partners located at the same site, as well as to see the outcomes of your work in real life - product innovations on the shop shelves!

Situated strategically in the middle of Europe, our RDQ Technical Center benefits not only from developed transportation infrastructure that connects the city with the rest of Europe, but also from proximity to other Mondelez International sites.

Living in Wroclaw

Wrocław is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city, the capital of the province of Lower Silesia and Poland’s fourth largest city. The city is situated between Prague, Warsaw and Berlin in the broad valley of the Oder River, and is frequently called the Venice of the North because of its 120 bridges and crossings.

Increased demand from the growing pool of young professionals settling here has led to the proliferation of restaurants, pubs and clubs, theatres and cinemas, as well as trendy art galleries which truly contribute to the city’s leisure base. Alongside these, the city offers a fantastic array of sporting facilities, historical sites and unspoiled natural surroundings. This means that your weekends could be spent exploring rugged mountains, visiting castles and monasteries, or relaxing in exclusive spas and health resorts.

Here’s what two Mondelēz International engineers, Anne-Fleur Bourdeau and Meltem Sisli, have to say about living in Wrocław.

Anne-Fleur Bourdeau

“The old centre is charming with its traditional and colorful architecture, countless bridges, and small islands with green parks where people like to meet. As Capital of Culture for 2016, there is a large entertainment offer with many theatres, opera, concert halls and museums. This is accompanied by a strong sporting infrastructure, with a stadium, waterpark, many green areas and an ice skating rink. Thanks to a third of inhabitants being students, there is a rich local nightlife offering multiple events.”

Meltem Sisli

“I would really recommend Wrocław as a place to live. You can find anything you need here. If you like the peaceful life, you can find it. If you want to travel to nearby countries, you have many opportunities via bus or plane. If you want to have fun and socialize, you can. It has a really nice main square, with plenty of shops, restaurants and so on.”

Join us at our new RDQ Technical Center in Wroclaw! We truly believe that our new facility will offer a fantastic opportunity for career development and the chance to enjoy an excellent work/life balance in a fantastic location.
