Introduction
You are about to provide certain personal data to us by using our applicant tracking system and/or talent network database operated by Mondelez International and its suppliers. Before you provide personal data to us, carefully read this Data Privacy Statement as you will be asked to acknowledge and agree to it before you can complete the registration and application process.
We recognize that you may be concerned about the data you provide to us, and how we treat that data. Thus, protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is held securely is very important to Mondelez International. We have developed this Data Privacy Statement to address those concerns and to explain to you what personal data we collect and how we use, process and disclose such personal data. This Data Privacy Statement will apply when you use our applicant tracking system or talent network database and is applicable to data collected by Mondelez International and its affiliates globally for use by these companies worldwide.

What type of personal data do we collect?
During the application/registration process, you will have to submit certain personal data and information to Mondelez International and its affiliates. Personal data means any data related to an identified or identifiable person. We only collect personal data at the point of need, i.e. you may not have to provide specific personal data right at the beginning of the application process, but may be asked to provide additional personal data at a later stage. During the application process, you will be asked to provide the following personal data: your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, birthday, nationality and other contact details as well as work and educational history (résumé/curriculum vitae), work and salary preferences, and other information related to your application.
We only collect personal data from individuals who provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly, such as by registering for a job on our applicant tracking system or by providing name and address information and requesting follow-up contact from us via our talent network database.
You can visit our applicant tracking system without telling us who you are or providing us with any personally identifiable information about yourself. Please ensure that if you provide details of any other person that such details are provided with their consent (e.g. details of any person you provide as referee).
We also collect non-personal information on an ongoing basis when you use our website. The collection of this non-personal information is done through "cookie" technology. Please ensure that your web browser settings reflect whether you agree to accept such technology. If you do not wish to accept such technology you may have to adjust the privacy settings of your web browser accordingly.

How do we process and use your personal data?
You are providing personal data to apply for a specific job opening or because you would like to submit your application to us on a general basis. The data will be used by us to assess qualifications and personal experience to determine if it meets specific job requirements. It also helps us to inform you about future job openings in Mondelēz International. We may use your personal data in order to respond to your questions and requests, to provide you with access to certain areas and features of this applicant tracking system or talent network database and to communicate with you about your activities on these sites.
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our applicant tracking system or talent network database, we ask you to provide your e-mail address as well as your friend’s name and email address. By using the referral service you confirm that such details are provided to us with your friend’s consent. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit our applicant tracking system or talent network database. We use the data provided for the sole purpose of sending this one time e-mail.
Who do we disclose your personal data to and why?
We will make your personal data available to selected employees of Mondelez International and its affiliates worldwide responsible for and in connection with the recruiting process as well as to carefully vetted third party business partners who provide services to us strictly in connection with the recruiting process.
Mondelēz International is a globally operating company and your application may also be interesting for other enterprises of the Mondelez International group of companies. Thus, when submitting your personal data to us, you agree that such data may be passed or made available to Mondelez International and its affiliates some of which are based in other countries than the country in which you are located or where the job vacancy is located. Please note that such countries may have less stringent data protection laws compared to the country from where you submitted your personal data. However, all Mondelez International affiliates are required to comply with an internal privacy policy which requires that steps are taken to protect your personal data and that it is only used for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted by you.
Our applicant tracking system is hosted on servers in the United States by Oracle America Inc. and our talent network database is hosted on servers in the United States by SmashFly Technologies Inc. Oracle America Inc. and SmashFly Technologies Inc. both recognize that the European Union and Switzerland have implemented various technical and organizational security measures and obliged themselves to comply with the European and Swiss Data Protection standards in order to adduce adequate safeguards with respect to the protection of privacy and fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals for the transfer of the personal data.
How do we keep your personal data secure and private?
Mondelez International maintains reasonable technical, physical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Only authorized Mondelez International employees and service providers’ staff as set out herein will be authorized to have access to your personal data. To the extent third party service providers have access to your personal data; Mondelez International has entered into contracts to make sure that your personal data remains secure and private.
How long do we keep your personal data and can you check or delete your personal data?
Your personal data will be kept by Mondelez International only for as long as is reasonably necessary taking into account any legal requirements under applicable laws.
Your personal data on our recruiting systems will be kept until you are employed by Mondelēz International or for the period of time defined below if you have not been accepted. A different privacy policy will apply once you are employed.
If you have applied for a specific job opening but have not been accepted for such position we will inform you and retain your personal data for future job openings unless you choose to withdraw your data at that point.
For those individuals who have applied to a position or who have indicated an interest in opportunities located in Europe
If you have applied for a position located in Europe and have not accessed your applicant tracking system profile for more than 12 (twelve) months to apply for a role, your profile and personal data will be deleted from the applicant tracking system. If you wish us to retain your personal data on file, you can edit your profile at any time to reset the twelve month time period. If you have applied for a role in another region in addition to Europe, data will be held based on the local country rules of the application outside of Europe unless you specifically request otherwise.
The personal data of talent network members who are living in Europe and who have opted out from the receipt of email communications informing them of future job opportunities within Mondelez International, will be deleted after 3 years of inactivity. You have the opportunity at any time to opt back in to receiving email communications from the Talent Network. Updating your information
If you wish to verify, correct, update or delete any of your personal data collected through our applicant tracking system or our talent network database, you have the following options:
(i) Access your applicant tracking system personal profile (if already set up), review and change your data
(ii) Access a
TALENT FORM (assuming previously completed) to submit your preferences
(iii) Access the
OPT BACK IN TALENT FORM to start receiving email communications again from the Talent Network Database, to keep informed of future job opportunities
(iv) Request deletion of your profile from either the applicant tracking system or the Talent Network Database by clicking
CONTACT US at the bottom of the career site page to complete and submit the Feedback form. You can click the
CONTACT US link found at the bottom of the career section page and then email us your request using the Feedback form.
Updates to this Data Privacy Statement
We may change or update parts of this Data Privacy Statement at any time and without prior notice to you. However, in any case, we will maintain the current level of data protection. Please check back from time to time so you are aware of any changes or updates and to see how these changes may affect you. We will indicate the effective date on the first page of the Data Privacy Statement.
